As described, I heard it was a really nice place to recover, but I was blown away by how beautiful it is! Feels like a resort much more than a hospital. Avatar hires staff that really have a heart for alcoholics and addicts. Every kind of accommodation is provided, including round the clock emotional support, which for me was clutch as my detox brought up so much fear and sorrow. I could always share any issue with staff, all genuinely sympathetic and wise in regards to addiction and mental health needs day and night. The psychological, psychiatric, and medical staff are friendly, competent experts, and quickly addressed my needs as they arose. My case worker and the financial officer were excellent as well. I can't forget to mention the chefs create amazing meals! 😋🍽 and food is available in the fridge round the clock. I found this place searching the best rehabs all-over the country and came to Avatar all the way from Wyoming driving my Welding Rig 2600 miles. Words can’t really describe the experience of being a client at Avatar other than being in a rehab paradise. The staff is very welcoming and supportive from the moment you walk in, and the Medical staff takes care of all your detox & mental health needs immediately. The owner Pinal allowed the convenience of bringing my certified service dog. I’m very grateful for the treatment that I have received, and I’ve been here multiple times and wouldn’t think about going anywhere else. I mean, I think it speaks volumes if I’ve been here multiple times from the state of Wyoming, and I’ve driven every single time! I would like to thank Ed because I don’t believe I would be alive today if it wasn’t for him and his treatment towards me every time I’ve been here along with Sue and Dr A. Every BHT’s like Donna, Alex, and I’ll give a shout-out to Andrew who used to schedule & take us to activities, get us haircuts and our nails done if your into that. This place is new with a modernistic feel to it. Most rooms are single with a private bathroom. You have the ability to use your phone whether it’s for work or staying in contact with family members and your recovery support. There’s absolutely nothing I can think of that’s really negative about this place. I was recommended to avatar. I’ve never been in rehab facility before but I can promise you this there is nowhere in the entire us that will give the care and individual support needed to overcome your addiction whatever it may be. Avatar has an unbelievably great staff of Drs, counselors, therapists etc. the facility is super clean and modern.
